Green Clean Automotive Shampoo
There’s certainly no shortage of car wash chemicals on the market these days. However, to find one that is somewhat eco friendly that really works is a treasure! Green Clean uses plant based surfactants and vegetable based glycerine rather than harsh chemicals to get your car good and clean again.
For caked on bugs and tar, we recommend good old Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover. The foam spray penetrates all the gunk that makes washing your car a drag and rinses it all away.
Once your car is gleaming again, you may notice some light scratches or swirls that you’d rather remove. Meguiar’s ScratchX 2.0 is our go to every time. You can apply a bit with your microfiber and buff them right off by hand.
Now that your car is squeaky clean, we want to get it sparkling again with Mother’s California Gold Original Formula Carnauba Cleaner Wax.
If you’re looking for a tool to save your hands and help you out, we recommend Rupes Big Foot Random Orbital Polisher Kit with 5.5″ Black Optics Pads & V Line Polishes. Work smarter, not harder, right?
For scratched, yellow or dull headlights, 3M Headlight Lens Restoration System is a must. Cool thing is that you can use an ordinary drill to use this kit. No buffer necessary.
Concours Tire Treatment is our go to for tire trim and dressing. Makes tires look great. Not overly shinny but black and bright.
For interior detailing, leave it to Meguiar’s Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner to spiff things right up. We like this product because it doesn’t leave an oily residue on the surface and the smell isn’t overpowering. It also clean stains really well.
For maintaining your clean interior and freshening the air a bit, we recommend Armor All Cool Mist Air Freshening Protectant Wipes. Although not compact enough to live in your console, they’re safe on vinyl and plastic and keep your dash and other areas clean and dust free in between details.
